Expanding the Game with Marty Shargel

With spring sports season underway, it's time to take a small break from our football and basketball players and recognize some of our unsung athletes, today's spring spotlight athlete is none other than Agoura High Schools own Marty Shargel. Shargel is currently a senior at Agoura High School (Agoura, California) and is a star player on the Boy's Lacrosse team. From his freshman year forward, Marty has been an intricate part of the success of the Agoura Boy's Lacrosse team. Marty has played on some of Southern California's most elite lacrosse teams, of those club teams include LA Lazers, Goon, West Coast Starz, and LA Mavericks. As a Junior, Marty garnered interest from many top University's, including Bellarmine, Dominican University, and Onondaga CC. In the late spring of his junior season, Marty made the tough decision to commit to Onondaga CC, one of the nation's top tier community college lacrosse programs. In the first game of his Senior season, Marty scored the game winner in a thrilling OT matchup against the Crespi Celt's. Congrats to Marty as we wish him the best during his senior season!
