Sierra Canyon HS Aims to Remain Perfect Coming into State Championship Game

The term "undefeated" is amongst one of the greatest in the world of competitive sports. The 15-0 Trailblazers from Chatsworth (CA) look to keep their perfect record heading into their State Championship Game this Saturday. Coasting their way through the regular season, the The Trailblazers recorded key victories over Palisades High, Paso Robles, and Brentwood High School prior the taking their undefeated season into the California Division 2A playoffs. Sierra Canyon continued to exert their dominance into the post season with blowouts, shut outs, and two multi-overtime victory games. Led by veteran coach Jon Ellinghouse, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers square off against the Northern California power house Serra (San Mateo) High School, Saturday December 17 @12PM at Sacramento State's very own "Hornet Stadium". Will Sierra Canyon remain perfect and make SoCal proud? Or will Serra (San Mateo) shock the high school football world and pull off what would be a devastating upset? Only time will tell.
