The RRQB Training QB RECRUIT COMBINE | 'TOP 8 RANKED' QUALIFIER is an elite level QB competition structured as a college recruiting camp formatted specifically to showcase quarterbacks who possess the talent to be seen as a highly recruited QB.

This event will feature drills and competitions to test and evaluate the quarterback's abilities. At the conclusion of the event, 8 QBs in each division will be awarded with a "TOP 8 RANKED" Award with some QBs being labeled as a RRQB Training '5 STAR QB'!

This competition will intentionally put our quarterbacks in a pressure packed environment scenario in front of recruiting sources that will allow us to see which QBs deserve the right to be 'TOP 8 RANKED'!

Below is the FORMAT for the event:

Throughout the entirety of the event, there will be a 'team of recruiters' watching, evaluating, and taking notes of each and every quarterback. This team will come together at the end of the event to determine the TOP QBS in each division deserving of a 'TOP 8 RANKED AWARD' based on their performance throughout the day.

Below are the MAIN SEGMENTS of the competition:

ROUTES ON AIR

Quarterbacks will be evaluated on their ability to throw a multitude of routes to receivers. Anticipation ability, accuracy, ball placement, arm strength, throwing mechanics, and footwork will be the main areas that will be judged and evaluated during this segment.

1 ON 1'S

Quarterbacks will be evaluated on their ability to throw routes to receivers with the added dimension of a defender. Anticipation ability, accuracy, ball placement, arm strength, throwing mechanics, and footwork, along with displaying an ability to avoid interceptions, will be the main areas that will be judged and evaluated during this segment.

QUICK RELEASE, ARM STRENGTH, TARGET ACCURACY, AND ESCAPABILITY STATIONS

Quarterbacks will be charted and evaluated at various stations by recruiters throughout the competition to chart their quick release, arm strength, accuracy, and escapability speed.

FOOTWORK, POCKET FLUIDITY, SPOT ACCURACY, AND SPIRAL SPIN ABILITY STATIONS

Quarterbacks will be charted and evaluated at various stations by recruiters throughout the competition to chart their footwork, pocket fluidity, accuracy, and spiral spin ability.

FINALS SHOWDOWN

The Top Quarterbacks chosen by the team of recruiters based on their performances throughout the day will be called out to compete in a 'finals showdown' which will add a new dimension of pressure! This segment will allow our recruiters with one last chance to see the top guys sling it before making a final decision on who outrightly deserves the 'TOP 8 RANKED' Award.

Grade Divisions: Incoming 3rd Grade - 12th Grade

Important Details: All QBs are encouraged to invite WRs to run routes and catch balls throughout the event. Many of the drills will require WRs. There is no charge for WRs. All Quarterbacks must bring their own football based on the ball they will be using in the Fall of 2024 (Current 3rd Grade: K2 or TDJ; Current 4th-5th Grade: TDJ; Current 6th-7th Grade: TDY or High School Official; Current 8th Grade - High School: High School Official) All players must wear black shorts. Jersey will be given after check-in.
