Taking place January 23–24, 2027, this overnight flag football tournament brings teams together for an exciting experience filled with competitive matchups, activities between games, and the opportunity to build lasting memories with teammates.

Hosted entirely indoors at The St. James, this unique overnight event offers more than just football. Players will remain at the facility overnight under the supervision of their designated team chaperones while enjoying a night of competition and camaraderie.

Whether you're competing for a championship or making memories with your team, the Midnight Madness Showdown promises an unforgettable overnight experience!

Tournament Details

• Dates: January 23–24, 2027

• Location: The St. James | 6805 Industrial Rd., Springfield, VA 22151

• Divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U Co-Ed

• Format: 5v5 Flag Football

• Game Guarantee: 3 Games per Team

• Rules: NFL FLAG Tournament Rules

• Registration Fee: $100 per Player

• Maximum Roster: 10 Players & 2 Coaches per Team

Game Format

• Two 12-minute halves (24 minutes of game time)

• 1-minute halftime

• Three 30-second timeouts per game

• 5v5 format following NFL FLAG Tournament Rules

Registration & Eligibility

Registration Deadline: January 8, 2027, at 12:00 AM

Eligibility Deadline: January 18, 2027, at 11:55 PM EST

• All athletes must have an active ZortsID.

• All coaches must have an active ZortsID for Coaches.

• Player age eligibility is determined by the athlete's age as of January 1, 2027.

• All eligibility requirements must be completed by the designated deadline.

• Teams are limited to a maximum of 10 players and 2 coaches.

Team Registration Process

To register your team for the Midnight Madness Showdown, please follow the steps below:

1. Register Your Team: The team coach or manager must complete the initial team registration.

2. Log In: Sign in to your registration account.

3. Invite Players: Locate your registered team and select "Invite Players."

4. Enter Player Information: Enter each player's email address, one per line.

5. Send Invitations: Click "Send Invites." Each player will receive an email containing their individual registration and payment link.

Important: Each player must complete their individual registration and payment to secure their spot on the team. All players must also meet the tournament's eligibility requirements and have an active ZortsID.

Zorts Registration & Team Management

Following registration, teams will receive an invitation through Zorts, the official tournament management platform.

• All team rosters must be uploaded into the Zorts Player Registration System.

• Game schedules, rosters, and tournament results will be managed through Zorts.

• Teams must ensure all players and coaches meet registration and eligibility requirements before the tournament.

• Home Teams: Dark-colored jerseys

• Away Teams: Light-colored jerseys

Flag Requirements

• Custom flags are permitted.

• Only traditional smooth popper flags may be used.

Overnight Tournament Experience

The Midnight Madness Showdown is more than a traditional tournament. Teams will have the opportunity to spend the night together at The St. James, participate in activities between games, and enjoy a unique overnight football experience.

All players must remain with their designated team chaperones throughout the overnight event.
