Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department today announced that registration is open for the 2026 Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament and Festival. Young athletes from across Boston will compete for the title of “Boston’s Best” soccer team in both competitive and recreational divisions. This year, we've added additional grade levels to the tournment:
Girls Grade 3 Recreational
Girls Grade 3 Premier
Boys Grade 3 Recreational
Boys Grade 3 Premier
Girls Grade 5
Boys Grade 5
Girls Grades 9-12 (High School)
Boys Grades 9-12 (High School)
The 2026 Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournment & Festival will be held over two weekends:
Saturday, October 23rd and Sunday, October 24th

Tournament play will be organized into two divisions. The Premier Division (Competitive) will feature 7v7 play with a maximum roster size of 15. The Recreational Division will also feature 7v7 play with a maximum roster size of 15. Teams are required to provide their own uniforms. All teams are guaranteed 3 games.
As always, all participants will receive exclusive Mayor’s Cup swag.
