Open to All Teams | Odd & Even Youth Age Divisions
You asked, we delivered! We're kicking off the year with a Battle Flag Football tournament open to every single team, and yes, that includes the odd age divisions, too. This will give everyone an opportunity to show where they're at to start the season. No invitation required, no prior bids. Just bring your squad, get some great games in, and start the year off right competing for a Battle5 New Year’s Classic championship!

🏈 TOURNAMENT FORMAT
4-Game Guarantee
Saturday: Pool Play (All teams play 3 pool play games).
Sunday: Single-Elimination Bracket Play (Every team makes the bracket).
🏆 TOURNAMENT AWARDS & RECOGNITION
The Hardware: Official Battle5 Championship Trophy and custom championship rings for the winners.
MVP Awards: Individual MVP awards for each division's standout player.
Character Counts Awards: As always, we will be recognizing high character and exemplary leadership throughout the weekend for those displaying elite sportsmanship on and off the field.
📋 ROSTER & ELIGIBILITY
Roster Size: 12 Player Max | 2 Coaches Max. (An additional 3rd Coach/Media Pass can be purchased).
Age Cutoff: 8/1/2026.
HS Girls Division: Must be enrolled in High School (Fall 2026 / Spring 2027).
Compliance: Valid Zorts Player/Coach Cards are mandatory. All waivers must be signed and "Eligible" status confirmed prior to kickoff.
Rules: Standard Battle5 Rules apply (battle5.com).
💰 REGISTRATION & FEES
Early Bird Entry Fee: $550.00 per team if registered before October 1st.
Standard Entry Fee: $650.00 per team for registrations on or after October 1st.
$250 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot
⏱️ Team Check-In:
Saturday at the venue, one hour prior to your first scheduled game.
✈️ TRAVEL INFORMATION
NOT Stay-to-Play: Teams are completely free to book whatever accommodations, hotels, or rentals fit their budget best. No mandatory hotel blocks required.
🚗 Parking: FREE for all teams and spectators.
Spectator Gate Admission:
Adults: $25/day | $40 weekend pass
Youth: $15/day | $25 weekend pass
Kids (5 & Under): FREE
Tournament Note: The Battle5 New Year’s Classic is a premium, standalone showcase event designed to bring the elite Battle tournament experience to all teams. No prior bids or invitations are required to register—this is a top-tier platform for anyone ready to compete. Please note: This event does not serve as a direct qualifier for the National Championship.
Refund Policy:
Battle Flag Football has a no refund policy once you pay the deposit or the full registration fee. In the unusual circumstance where your team is unable to play due to injuries, illness etc., we are happy to provide a credit to a future Battle Flag Football Tournament in 2027 for the amount minus the deposit, if we receive written notification two weeks prior to the tournament. In the unforeseeable scenario that we are impacted by COVID-19 or other virus-related events, including but not limited to, a mandatory quarantine and/or shut-down of “non-essential” businesses, we will be offering a credit to a future Battle Flag Football in 2026/2027.
