Get ready to witness history on the gridiron! On July 25th, 2026, Columbia, Maryland, will play host to the inaugural EmpowHer Bowl, a high-energy girls' flag football tournament where skill, speed, and sisterhood take center stage. This isn't just about the touchdowns and interceptions—it's a celebration of the next generation of female athletes breaking boundaries and claiming their place in the sport.
Check-In & Field Entry:
- Upon arrival, coaches and players should gather their group and come to the check in table as a team to get their wristbands.
- If your team is bringing a media person, they must get a wristband from the check in table. Only one camera person is permitted on the sidelines per-team, and is required to stay off the field of play at all times.
- The fields will be roped off, and only those with wrist bands are permitted to enter the field. Entering the field of play without a wristband is strictly prohibited.
Food & Concessions: While there will be a food truck on site selling a wide variety of food throughout the day: water, gatorade, candy and light snacks can be purchased from the concessions area next to check-in. This will be a quick place to grab something if lines get long at the food truck.
360 Booth and Facepainting: We will have a FREE 360 Booth open to attendees, siblings and players between 10 am and 3 pm. After 3pm, usage will be limited around staff availability, and used for the 17U champion celebration. There will also be face painting available to all. We know it can be a long day for siblings and we want them to have some fun too.
Spectator Information:
- Areas where teams/families may set up their tents are shown on the map, as well as warm up areas for the teams.
- The first row of parking spaces will be blocked off for this event. Those used to backing in and watching from their tailgate will need to park in the main part of the lot on Saturday, as we make more room for spectators. at the top of the hill.
- NO PETS. Dogs are not permitted anywhere inside the cones, tent or spectator areas.
ZERO TOLERANCE: Our mission at Be You Sports is Empower, Inspire and Unite. We know competitive spirit can cause elevated emotions at sporting events. Our organization vigorously defends the culture and atmousphere our community has come to expect from our program. Any detrimental conduct will be met with immediate removal from the event. Let the Players Play | Let the the Coaches Coach | Let the Referees Ref. Spectators are there to cheer and encourage the players to be the best versions of themselves.
