About the Tournament
Description
MASSACHUSETTS YOUTH RUGBY tournament hosted by READY PREP.
New England youth rugby clubs and families are welcome to join us in Boston Sunday, June 14th, 2026!
No strangers to hosting sporting events, READY Prep is planning for you to have a blast at the inaugural Battle for Boston youth rugby tournament!
Participants and spectators will experience a day of exciting matches for children grades K-8th (as of 2025-26 school year). The following Divisions will be offered:
GIRLS: K-2nd Flag, 3rd/4th Flag, 5th/6th Flag, 7th/8th Tackle
Co-Ed: K-2nd Flag, 3rd/4th Flag, 5th/6th Flag, 7th/8th Tackle
3 match minimum for divisions with 4+ teams. Co-Ed divisions with less than 4 teams will only play each opponent once. GIRLS divisons with less than 4 teams may be pooled with co-ed, but still draw pairings with other girls teams.
Team registration deadline June 1st. Team registration fee TBD.
Team roster deadline June 1st. Roster in Zorts must match team roster in Rugby Xplorer. Player/Coach eligibility will be strictly enforced. We reserve the right to extend or shut down edits/updates after deadline.
Team check-ins will be conducted upon arrival, prior to first match. Check-in times will be shared once registration is final.
Coach/Admin meeting will take place virtually the week of the event to discuss flow of event, parking and field logistics, laws by level, etc.
