Rules
1) Game lengths will be 15minutes halfs. 5-minute halftime and a 2-minute warning at the end of the game.
2)One minute timeout in pool play per half. Pool play games are played starting at the 20-yard line, with regular high school rules (first down at the 40, TD in the end zone). Field of play is the regular high school flag football field( 40 yards wide by 80 yards long, with 10-yard deep end zones, totaling 100 yards in length.
3)In pool play, captains will flip a coin, the winner gets to choose to start on offense or defense.
4)Scoring is normal (6 for TD, 1-pt PAT from the 5, 2-pt PAT from the 10)
5) Mouthguards are mandatory. Padded headbands are always recommended.
6)Overtime rules: Team captains will toss a coin. Winner gets to choose whether they want to start on offense or defense. Each team gets 4 plays from the 40-yard line, and whoever gets the most yardage on that drive or scores. Each team will get an opportunity to play offense & defense.
7) Flag Belt Checks will be completed. Two identical flags must be worn on the hips.
