NextGen Showdown Presents: Battle for the Valley
Date: April 11, 2026 (Saturday)
Location: Maricopa High School
Tournament details:
· All teams and organizations welcome
· 5 v 5 format
· 3 Pool Play Games
· Single-Elimination Bracket
· 12-player roster max, 2 coach max
· Age cutoff: 8/1/2025
· NFL Flag Rules
· Awards include:
o Custom Championship Rings
o MVP Recognition
· Gates open at 7:00am
· Pool play starts at 8:00am
· Arrive 1 hour prior to game time
· Must have at least 5 players present for team check in.
· Schedules will be released at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 8th
Divisions:
Boys: 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 15U
Girls: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, High School (HS)
Note: Divisions may be combined if fewer than 3 teams register in a given category.
Entry Fees:
· Registration: $425 per team
· Registration closes: April 7, 2026, at 11:55pm MST
Spectator Fees:
· $20 per person (ages 15 and older)
· Free for spectators 14 and under
Media Pass:
· $50 Media Pass will be available for purchase (limited to one per team)
o Media pass includes sideline access
Multi-team discount:
· 2+ teams: $50 off per team
· 4+ teams: $75 off per team
· Teams must be registered in the same session for discounts to apply
Rosters & Player Verification:
· 12 player roster max + 2 coaches
· All rosters must be submitted through Zorts
· Zorts Card required for each coach and athlete
· Waivers must be signed by parents/legal guardians
Roster Upload Deadline:
· Thursday, April 9, 2026 – 11:59pm MST
· Late Upload Deadline: Friday, April 10, 2026 – 10:00pm MST ($50 late fee will apply)
Tournament Policies:
· Players must participate in at least one pool play game to qualify for bracket play
· Players may not be rostered on more than one team within the same division
· Roster checks allowed; violations lead to forfeits.
· Teams may be asked to verify player eligibility at any time.
· Tournament format may be adjusted based on event size, field availability, or weather
REFUND POLICY
All registration fees are non-refundable. If the event must be postponed or canceled due to weather or other safety-related issues, teams will receive credit toward a future NextGen Showdown event.
