7V7 Format

Ages 5-7 unlimited rushing attempts, will be flag, but played under 7V7 format.

8-14 no rushing attempts in league play, but will allow in tournament play, an ode to Battle rules. 1 blitz attempt per game. Unlimited players can blitz, but they must blitz from outside the tackle box. Also blitzing at the 40 is prohibited. On offense, players have to line up, outside the tackle box. Must have at least 3 players on the L.O.S. including the center. The play clock will be 25 seconds. Qbs have 4 seconds to release the ball. The time of the game is 20 minutes. The center is ineligible to go out for passes. No double passes allowed. Wrs are not allowed to block. Dbs are allowed to jam, but only 1 jam, and release. No jamming after 5 yards. 6 pts for a TD, 1 pt attempt from the 5, and 2 pt from the 10. The PAT is an untimed down. 20 minute running clock, except for injury, and last 2 minutes of game. Clock will stop for 1st downs, out of bounds, and incompletions, during that period. Clock restarts immediately, once ball is set. No timeouts in pool play,  or regular leag

 ue play, only during playoffs, there will be 1 per game, in those instances. Playing field is 40 yards long, plus a 10 yard endzone. The 1st down markers are the 25,and 10 yard lines, 3 downs to get a 1st down.  1 foot down for pass to a legal catch. False start on offense, automatic loss of down. Offsides on defense 5 yards. Defensive holding 10 yards, no automatic 1st down. Defensive P.I. 15 yards, automatic 1st down. Unsportmanlike penalty, and personal fouls on defense 15 yards, automatic 1st down. 1st personal foul will result in player sitting for the rest of the series, 2nd pf, ejection, and 1 game suspension. Unsportmanslike on coaches, 1st infraction 15 yards, 2nd infraction 15 yards, ejection and 2 game suspension. Dead ball fouls on defense after a score, will result in loss of down for their ensuing drive (will be 2nd down when they start their possession.) Dead ball foul on offense after a TD, will result in loss of down, hence no P.A.T. If it occurs after a P.A.T. the

 other team will start their drive on the  25. 6 pts for a TD, 1 or 2 for a  P.A.T. , 2 pts for a defensive stop, and 3 pts for an interception. Interceptions cannot be returned. Mouthpieces are required, and headgear is strongly suggested. 1 hand touch, below the neck. Celebrations are allowed,  but they can't be towards your opponent, will result in Unsportmanlike penalty. You're encouraged to participate in the age groups that you'll be playing the upcoming season for league play. League Birthdays are 7/1, tournament bdays are, whatever your age is, the day of tournament.
