Introducing Battle Athletic Academy (BAA) 7 vs 7 tournaments, the premier

football tournament series set to make its mark in the Atlanta, GA area and

beyond. While being hosted in Atlanta, these tournaments are open to young

athletes from across the country, creating a truly competitive and diverse

playing field.

BAA aims to establish itself as the leading tournament series in the Southeast

region and beyond. With a reputation for excellence, professionalism, and top-

tier competition, BAA tournaments attract the most talented middle and high

school athletes from various states and regions. As a result, these tournaments

offer a unique opportunity for young football players to test their skills against

elite competition and gain exposure on a broader scale.

Pricing:  

High School - $350 per team

$200 Non-refundable deposit required at registration

Remaining balance due by June 1, 2026

Rules:

The Official GHSA rulebook will govern play with the exceptions listed. GHSA Girls Flag Football Rules is posted under the 'Info' Tab on Zorts for this tournament.

Teams may start or finish a game with (5) players.

Each player must wear a mouthpiece to participate in the Queens of the South Tournament games. Mandatory!!

Rush line - All rushers must rush from a distance of 2 yards. There is no rushing restrictions anywhere on the playing field. Defense can blitz from the 40 yd line.

Offense - The offense can run the ball from anywhere on the field, including the QB. There are no 40 yd line restrictions(Safety of the players: If the offensive player run backward onto the opposite field of play to avoid being de-flagged, the official will blow the play dead and a loss of down will be given).

Offensive Center - The center is an eligible receiver.

Each team will receive 1 timeout per game during bracket play only. There are no timeouts during pool play games for any team. Time outs do not rollover from regulation time to OT. Each team will be given 1 timeout during the OT period. 

NO OFFENSIVE OR DEFENSIVE Coaches allowed on the field. 

Uniforms - All players must wear the same color jersey, pants, or shorts, and they should have no pockets.  If an organization has more than 1 team in the event, each team must wear a different color.  Players may play on 1 team only for the entire event.

Flags - Triple threat flags required.

Rules - The ball will start on the 40-yard line. There will be 1 first down, which is at the 20-yard line. Once you cross the 20-yard line, you must score a touchdown.

Queens of the South Scoring:

6pts TD

2pts Defensive INT

Extra Point - Teams have the option for the automatic 1 point. The coach must declare immediately. Once the extra point is declared, the decision can not by changed. If they decide to go for 2 points for a ball on the 10-yard line or 3 points for a ball on the 15-yard line, they must attempted a play.

Time - There will be a 25-minute running clock, as well as a 25-second play clock.

Pool Play: The home team will have the option to start on offense or defense. 

Bracket Play: The higher seeded team shall have the option to start on offense or defense. 

OT Rules - There is NO overtime during pool play games. If there is overtime during a bracket play game, each team will get a possession at the 10 yard line to start the OT period with 4 downs to the score. If there is a 2nd OT, each team must decide with 1 play if they want to go for 1 point, 2 points, or 3 points. Defensive INT can end the game.

If the flag fall of the ball carrier during the play that was not pulled by the opponent, the opposing team must touch the play with one hand anywhere for the play to end.

Sportsmanship Rule:

If a team is leading by 19 or more points, at the 2 minutes remaining in the game in the 2nd half, the game shall be officially finished.

Championship Game: Modified GHSA rules will apply.

At the discretion of the facility used and QOS representative, the Girls Flag Football Championship Game will be played on a 80 yard field with normal GHSA rules. No points for defense unless it's a Pick 6 or Safety. All normal rules will apply(Punting, XP, Penalties etc.) except for the game clock. The game clock for the championship game will be two 18 minute halves with a 2 minute halftime. Each team will have 1 timeout per half. Clock will stop on injuries. Clock will NOT stop for out of bounce plays at any point in the game. Game will start on the 14 yard line with 4 plays to gain a first down per zone. 

Officials

2 officials for pool play and some bracket play games.

3 officials per game for semifinal games

5 officials for championship 4 on the field 1 auxiliary 

Offensive penalties(False start, Illegal Shift, Illegal motion, etc..) Loss of down

All Players must have an active Zorts Player Card in the Zorts system. The player cards are good for all Zorts events for one year from date of purchase. Coaches share team links with their families where cards are purchased or current valid cards are linked to the players team roster spot.

No on-site manual certification of players using external player cards will be allowed.   Players who are not certified and don't have an active player card in Zorts will not be allowed to compete.

For all support concerns and help with the Zorts Platform, please utilize the "Help" section of the website and apps, including eligibility, player cards, etc. 

All High School players must be on a team roster before the event. Once registration is closed, no players will be added to a roster.  

*Refund Policy: 

There will be NO refunds offered regardless of the reason for any organization/team that participates in the event. Any request for refunds before the event (no later than 7 business days before the event) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Thank you.
