We are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Flag Football Tournament as part of the Rocky Mountain State Games for girls and boys ages 10-18 who are passionate about flag football and eager to sharpen their skills in a competitive environment.
Who: Girls and Boys ages 10-18
What: A premier flag football tournament
When: June 13-14, 2026, June 13th at 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. (Pool Play, Day 1), June 14th at 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (Elimination Round, Day 2)
Where: John Venezia Community Park, 3555 Briargate Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80920
Why: To provide female athletes with a unique opportunity to showcase their flag football in a competitive environment.
Format: Each game consists of two 15-minute (running clock) halves with a 5-minute half-time break. Minimum three pool play games per team. Tiebreaker goes to point differential to determine seeding for Playoff Rounds. NO OVERTIMES in Pool Play. Single elimination for Playoffs: Win and advance. Semi final losers play in a 3rd/4th place game. Rocky Mountain State Game Medals awarded to 1st-3rd place teams.
Equipment Requirements: Every participant is expected to provide there own flags and protective gear deemed fit by our policies. Each team is required to have a dark and light option of the same color t-shirt or a set of same colored pennies. Soft shell helmets and mouthpeices are REQUIRED. All outfit and gear policies are explained in the RULES.
Additional Players: Teams consist of 7-15 players but are allowed up to 20 for $45 per additional player to be paid before Tournament Check-In on June 13, 2026.
Schedules: Posted on the evening of Friday, June 6, 2026.
