Monsters of the Midwest

Details:

Open to ALL Teams and Organizations

 

o   All Teams will participate in a Pool Play Format

o   Every team is guaranteed a Minimum of (3) three pool play games.

o   If there are Two teams in a division those two teams will play a best of three game series.  First team to win two games is the Champion.

o   If there are Three teams in a division each team will play each other team once.  From there the two highest rated teams will play in the Championship game.

o   If there are an Odd number of teams higher than 3 in a division, one team in that division will play a fourth pool play game and that game will count towards overall standings.  The team selection will be randomly selected unless there was a team late on getting rosters complete or late completing registration in which the late team will be the team that gets the 4th game.

o   TOP 50% of Team Division Rankings will advance to a single elimination playoff bracket. No Silver Divisions for this tournament.

Coed: 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u

Girls: 14u, HS 

 

Eligibility: 

Age cutoff 8/1/2025

Only 2 coaches allowed. All players will need a valid Zorts players card for age verification.  Coaches and players must sign all waivers and show as eligible to participate.

Game Play Info: Games will use MFF game balls.

All teams are required to have their own flags, mouthguards and team shirts or jerseys.

NFL Flags, Sonic Flag-Tag and Custom flags if poppers are smooth are allowed.  MFF staff will check flags to make sure they are allowed.  

Soft Shell helmets are encouraged but not required.  

 

Admissions: There will be admission fees for spectators.  Order your admission tickets before the day of the tournament and skip the line.  (No Admission Fees for Players and 2 Coaches.)  

 

Refund Policy:

Midwest Flag Football has a no refund policy once you pay the deposit or the full registration fee. In the unusual circumstance where Midwest Flag Football had to cancel a division the team or teams affected would get a credit of amount paid to a future Midwest Flag Football Tournament.  If tournament had to be canceled because of weather or any other reason all teams will be credited the amount paid for a future Midwest Flag Football Tournament.
