8U-14U 5 V 5 RULES: LIMITED TEAM CAPACTIY
Team Size: 5 players on the field per team. Max roster: 10 players.
Game Time: 2 halves of 12 minutes each (running clock), 2-minute halftime.
Scoring: Touchdowns = 6 points, Extra Points = 1 (5 yards) or 2 (10 yards)
Start of Play: Each drive starts at the 5-yard line. No kickoffs.
Downs: 4 downs to pass midfield, then 4 more to score.
Blocking & Contact: No contact blocking. Screen blocking only (hands behind back).
Rushing QB: Only one defender can rush after a 1-second count unless lined up 7+ yards off the line.
No Run Zones: No running plays allowed within 5 yards of midfield or the goal line.
Turnovers: INTs may be returned; fumbles are dead at the spot.
Equipment: Flags must be worn at the hips, shirts tucked in. No pockets or metal cleats.
WOMENS HIGH SCHOOL 7 V 7 RULES:
Game Time: 24 minutes each (running clock)
Start of Play: No kickoffs. Drives start at the team’s 20-yard line.
Downs: 4 downs to reach midfield, then 3 more to score.
Blocking: No contact blocking
Rushing the QB: Allowed after a 1-second count. Rusher must start 7+ yards off the line.
Running Plays: Legal unless within designated "No Run Zones" (5 yards before midfield and goal line).
Scoring:
Touchdown = 6 points
INT: 2 POINTS
Turnovers: INTs may be returned. Fumbles = dead at spot
EXTRA POINT : 1 point (5-yard line) or 2 points (10-yard line)
Safety = 2 points
Contact: No tackling or physical contact. One-hand flag pull ends the play.
Mens 7 V 7 High School Rules:
Game Time: 24 minutes (running clock)
Plays Start: Ball starts on the 40-yard line. Shoot out
First Downs: 3 for First down at the 25-yard line, then 4 to score.
Time to Throw: QB has 4 seconds to release the ball. No running plays or QB runs.
Scoring:
Touchdown = 6 points
1-Point PAT = from 5-yard line
2-Point PAT = from 10-yard line
Interception = 3 points + possession
Contact: No contact or tackling. One-hand touch
Defense: No blitzing
