LA Prospects and Avoyelles Parish Elite Flag Football Organizations are excited to present the Summer Heat Kickoff Flag Football Tournament! A weekend-long event filled with competition, family, and fun.

The competition starts on Friday, June 14th, where there will be an optional Combine Skills Event! Hosted at Northwestern State University; Turpin Stadium Field. This will be sure to bring an exciting and unique experience to participants. This will be organized by age group, awarding the top individual in each event, per age group. This is a great event that brings the players together before they go toe to toe on the field on Saturday and Sunday. 

Saturday and Sunday are when the games will take place. Located at Parc Natchitoches Field Complex in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Saturday will consist of strictly pool play games, and Sunday will be for bracket play. 

ALL PLAYERS are required to have a VERIFIED Zorts player ID card uploaded to be eligible to participate in this event. If you have any questions or troubles, please reach out.

With champions, come champion-type awards. The Summer Heat Kickoff will have division winners walking away with championship rings! 

This tournament is 5v5 Flag Football COED on all divisions (even and odd) with 4 Girls Divisions. 10 player roster limit

We are excited to introduce the drafting system to this tournament. The Monday prior to the tournament, all coaches will be invited to a zoom call to draft their seeding for POOL PLAY. Determine WHO and WHAT time you play through this system. Information will be posted on zorts under info tab. GET ON THIS TODAY!

Please note: Friday, June 14th is NOT REQUIRED for participants of this event. This is a VOLUNTARY event that allows players to show off their talent against other players with similar skills. PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED to participate in this event! (Link in INFO tab of the tournament in ZORTS)

Players interested will have their parent/guardian individually register them according to their age group. Players will receive a bib number to wear on Friday night as they are measured through a series of combine events. Events include 5-10-5, L drill, and the 40-Yard Dash. The top performers for each combine event out of each age group will receive an award commemorating their dominance on the field.
