DBDL Spring Season Description: Five Weekends of FREE DBDL 7 on 7 & FREE DBDL Flag Football to help student-athletes continue skill development in the off-season.
7 on 7 HELMETS REQUIRED! / MOUTHPIECES REQUIRED! / MATCHING UNIFORM REQUIRED!
Who:
Flag Football Ages - 4, 5, & 6U
7 on 7 Ages - 8U 9U, 10U, 12U, 12-13U, 14U, 15 - 16U & 17 - 18U
Flag & 7 on 7 Team Minimum: Must have 9 players to form a team
Age Cut Date: September 1st for 5 - 12yrs (Now Accepting 13U - 7th Graders & 14U 8th Graders)
When: April 2nd, April 9th, April 23rd, April 30th & May 7th - 5 weeks
What Time: Announced On Fridays During Spring Season
Where: at 4003 Meridiana Parkway ( next to Meridiana Elementary )
$5 Gate Fee when playing on turf field
To register a team, email iowacjp@gmail.com and attach your team roster (name, age, and school attends). Each Coach will need a copy of their player's most recent report card.
What do I do if my student-athlete does not have a team?
Answer:
- Email iowacjp@gmail.com
- In the Subject-Line, put the student-athletes name, age as of September 1st, and school they attend.
- Email Subject Line Example: Donald Brown - 9yrs - Meridiana Elementary
- If there are not enough single-player signups at your student-athletes age level two weeks before the spring season starts, your student-athlete will be given the option to play upon a randomly selected existing team.
