The Metcalf-Bunn league will serve as an outlet for the men in our  community. Providing one of few recreational leagues in the area catered  towards the 18-45 age demographic. The league will provide a safe outlet  for adult males, a contrast to the drugs and violences that engulfs this age  group presently. We are looking for this league to be a staple of the  Bladensburg Community, much in the way that the Goodman League is to Southeast DC and the Rucker Park League is to New York city. The teams  will pay an entry fee to be a part of the League, which will be used as a  fundraiser for the Royalty Institute of Leadership and Innovation. We will  sell concessions at the games as well. That will also be used as a  fundraiser for the Royalty Institute of Leadership and Innovation 

This will be a great opportunity for the Salvation Army to promote the  services that they have in the community. This League will greatly increase  the number of people who come into contact with the facility and ultimately  take advantage of Salvation Army programs. Lastly, by providing a service  to men in the community, we will have a workforce that we can call upon for  volunteer hours on projects that need it. 

We are looking to put on a first rate league, with an online show and  highlights weekly. We will have an all star game (Hopefully against a  celebrity team, as another fundraiser to be discussed at a later date).
