Hello and Welcome to the Eastside Tigers Youth Football Organization for the 2023 PAAL/CRC tackle football season. The Eastside Tigers were reestablished in October of 2020, during the Covid season. When outdoor sports were reallowed what started as a lone 12u 7th grade team quickly spread and grew into three teams from 11u-13u. That spring during the high school football season the Tigers were the only team in the Portland metro area to play tackle football in '20/'21. Since then we have had 5 fall/spring tackle football seasons, a spring 7on7 season and have grown to offer tackle football teams this fall from 7u-13u. This will be our first season in the PAAL/CRC which is an AYF League based in Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon. This is an age based league with a July 31st cut off date and absolutely no weight restrictions. Our practice locations are Marshall HS Campus and Lents Park both near se 92nd and Powell. Our Home Field is Rex Putnam HS. Official practice schedule starts August 1st and is Monday-Thursday from 6-8pm. After Aug 27th the practice schedule changes to Tuesday-Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm until the end of the season. League championships will be November 5th regional Championships November 12th. Our League Champions will have the option to advance to the AYF Regional Championship in which the region champions have an option to advance to the AYF National Championship. Your Helmet and Shoulder pads will be provided and returned at the end of the season. Parents will need to provide a 7 piece padded girdle or practice pants, a practice jersey, mouthpiece chinstrap and football cleats, football gloves are recommended. To complete your registration we will need your players Birth Certificate, Doctor Physical, and Report Card before you can participate in any official team activities. The cost for the season if you register before September 1st. Secure your spot on the team and gain access to a helmet and shoulder pads for summer practices by making your registration payment in full or a $150 deposit now. New uniforms will be provided for the teams and the players will be able to choose their number and keep their jersey after the season. We are looking forward to having an amazing season, last year was one of the most fun years we've had and we're looking forward to continuing the excitement!
