GENERAL CONDUCT AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR PLAYERS, COACHES, AND EVENT ORGANIZERS
1. Refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct, including abusive language, cheating, disrespect, or abuse of equipment and property
2. Treatment of players, officials, volunteers, and spectators will be conducted with respect and courtesy
3. Avoid the use of abusive behavior, whether verbal, physical or sexual
4. Respect the property of others at all times during events
5. Be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others for the entire period spent at the event
6. Ensure all players meet the eligibility requirements set out by the event
7. Complete event requests and registration for events before registration cut-off dates
8. Be on time for team check-ins at the event
9. Know, understand, and follow the 7v7 Spartan Clash Official Rules
SPECIFIC CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS
1. Proper attire is required at all times at the host facility/event, including during member-designated functions
2. Teams should have matching uniforms that all players wear during games
3. Obey instructions from officials at all times and treat them with respect
4. Compete in the spirit of fair play
5. Refrain from using profane or derogatory language at all times during the event
6. No physical abuse towards other players or officials will be tolerated
SPECIFIC CONDUCT FOR COACHES
1. Do not enter the field of play during the competition
2. Show respect and adhere to instructions given by officials and event organizers
3. Do not engage in public criticism of officials or incite players or spectators against the officials
4. Refrain from using profane or derogatory language at all times during the event
5. Ensure your players follow the code of conduct and set a good example for them
SPECIFIC CONDUCT FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS
1. Work in cooperation with the coaches and players to run a safe and clean event that adheres to the Spartan Clash guidelines
2. Promote a drug and alcohol-free athletic environment to protect student-athletes’ health and preserve fair competition
3. Supervise the event to ensure that players, coaches, and spectators conduct themselves reasonably and politely. This includes supervision to prevent and prohibit unsportsmanlike conduct
4. Enforce the rules of the Event
CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATION PENALTIES FOR PLAYERS
1. If a violation of the Code of Conduct occurs during an event or game, an official, event organizer, or tournament representative may immediately assess any or all of the following penalties based on the severity and frequency of the violation(s):
  1. One-game penalty at the event
  2. Disqualification from the event
CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATION PENALTIES FOR COACHES
1. If a violation of the Code of Conduct occurs during an event or game, an official, event organizer, or tournament representative may immediately assess any or all of the following penalties based on the severity and frequency of the violation(s):
  1. One-game penalty at the event
  2. Disqualification of coach and/or team from the event
  3. Disqualification of coach and/or team from future events
