Game Play
5v5 Flag, you may play with less
2 Halves 20 Minutes Each
Each Team has 1 timeouts per half
Game starts at Midfield
1 Player May Blitz 5 Yards Away Can Rush
QB can run if rushed, and may run 1 time per half without being rushed
5 Second Count before sending anyone if not 5 yards away
Everyone is an eligible receiver including center/snapper
Must minimum of 2 players on the line of scrimmage
No blocking with hands, you may stand in front of defender without using hands
If ball is fumbled it is dead right there, if ball is fumbled on the snap, QB may pick it up
4 Downs to Get First Down (15 yards), Offense has option to not go for it on 4th down, if choose to not go for it and change possession, opposing team gets ball on 15 yard line
If game ends in tie, no overtime
Scoring
6 points for touchdown
Interception may be returned for touchdown
1 point conversion from 5 and 2 point conversion from 10
Penalties & Description
Offside – A defensive player is beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped. 5 Yards Penalty
False start – An offensive player moves beyond the line of scrimmage prior to the ball being snapped. Loss of Down
Holding – Impeding the movement of another player by grasping or pulling at body part or piece of clothing. Ball Put at Next First Down Marker or if on Goaline 1 Yard Line
Flag Guarding/Illegal Blocking With Use Of Use – When an offensive player impedes a defensive player’s attempt to remove a flag from the ball carrier’s flag belt. This includes pushing, swatting, or blocking the area around the flag using any body part; e.g. hands, shoulders, elbows etc… or if actually blocking with hands with full extension and punch Loss of Down At Spot of Foul, if behind line of scrimmage put behind of scrimmage
Delay of game – The offense has a limited amount of time between plays to huddle, line up and start the next play. Taking too long will result in a delay of game penalty Loss of Down
Defensive Pass interference – Occurs when a defensive player makes contact with any offensive player who is attempting the catch a pass. Ball Put at Next First Down Marker or if on Goaline 1 Yard Line
Offensive Pass interference – Occurs when an offensive player makes contact with any defensive player who has a right to the ball. Loss of Down At Original Spot
Fighting/Overly Aggressive Physical Play As Per Flag League Officials – First Offense: 15 Yard Penalty if on defense. If on offense automatic turnover on downs. Second offense out for game
