1. Eligibility
Players must meet the age requirement as of August 31st of the current season.
Divisions:
• 10U Division: Players 10 years old or younger (as of Aug. 31).
- Team Roster: Minimum 5 players, Maximum 12 players.
• 12U Division: Players 12 years old or younger (as of Aug. 31).
- Team Roster: Minimum 5 players, Maximum 12 players.
2. Game Format
Each game will consist of two (2) halves, 12 minutes each.
The game clock will run under standard timing rules (not a running clock).
Halftime will be 3 minutes.
3. Scoring System
Field Goals inside the 3-point line: 2 points.
Field Goals beyond the 3-point line: 3 points.
Free Throws: 2 points per made free throw.
Mercy Rule: A game will end immediately if a team gains a 20-point lead at any point.
4. Overtime Rules
Overtime period: 2 minutes (standard clock).
If still tied after overtime, the game will proceed to sudden death: the first team to score wins.
5. Fouls & Free Throws
Standard basketball foul regulations apply, including personal fouls and team fouls.
Bonus/Double Bonus rules may be applied as follows (subject to league decision):
- 7 team fouls = Bonus.
- 10 team fouls = Double Bonus.
6. Timeouts
Each team is allotted two (2) timeouts per half.
Timeouts do not carry over to the next half.
7. Substitutions
Substitutions are permitted during any dead ball situation.
All coaches, players, and spectators are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and respect at all times.
