Offseason Extravaganza
Football (7v7) Tournament - February 17 to February 18, 2024

1. Game Format
• Games are 25 minutes with a running clock (stopping only for injuries or official timeouts).
• overtime in pool play; 1 play each  farthest play wins.
• Playoff and championship games will have a 3-play overtime if tied.
2. Scoring
• Touchdowns = 6 points
• No extra points—teams go for one play from the 5-yard line for 1 point
• Interceptions is 1 point
Pick 6 = 6 points possession back to offense
3. Possession & Play Clock
• Each team starts at the 40-yard line and has four downs to reach the 20-yard line for a first down.
• After crossing the 20, they have four more downs to score.
• Play clock: Teams have 25 seconds to snap after the ball is set.
4. No Blitz / No Running
• No blitzing. All plays must be pass plays (forward passes only).
• Quarterback has 4 seconds to throw the ball (official will count). If not, the play is dead.
• No designed runs. Ball carriers cannot advance beyond the line of scrimmage on a QB scramble.
5. Contact & Tackling
• No tackling or blocking. All contact must be minimal.
• One-hand touch anywhere below the neck ends the play.
• Excessive contact results in a 10-yard penalty and possible ejection.
6. Player & Sideline Conduct
• No player or parent misconduct. Unsportsmanlike conduct (taunting, arguing, profanity) results in automatic ejection and loss of down for the team.
• Coaches are responsible for controlling their players and sideline.
7. Playoff & Championship Rules
• Pool play determines seeding for the single-game playoff.
• The top teams from playoffs advance to the championship game.
• In case of a playoff tie, overtime consists of three plays from the 10-yard line (most points win; repeat if tied).
