Accommodations & Travel

Q: Is this a stay-to-play event?
A: Yes, teams must stay within the approved hotels in Osceola County, FL. Teams are exempt from the stay and play if you are within 100 miles of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Booking and accommodations can be found below or under the "Disney Accommodations" and "Alternate Approved Accommodations" in Zorts.

Q: Where can I find the approved hotel accommodations?
A: There are about 15 hotel options to choose from:

Q: What are the lodging requirements?
A: Minimum 8 total room nights per team.

Q: Can the rest of the team stay elsewhere if we meet the 8 room nights?
A: Yes.

Q: Can we opt out of stay-to-play?
A: Yes, for $500 per team or $1000 per organization. Please contact flagtournaments@unrivaledsports.com or 978-202-6323 for further buy out information and payment instructions.

Q: How much is the on-site hotel rate?
A: As low as $120 per night. Average is about $200 per night.

Q: Can we stay longer or come early?
A: Yes, just enter your desired dates when booking.

Q: Is transportation offered?
A: Yes, when staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort or Disney's All-Star Sports Resort transportation is included to and from the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on the Youth Flag Football World Championship event dates. Guests staying at any other resort will need to provide their own transportation. Please note, there is no complimentary transportation to and from the airport.

Cost & Admission

Q: Are there additional costs?
A: Yes, admission fees apply for spectators. Players and coaches are free.

Q: Can we still get discounted park passes if staying off-site?
A: No, discounted passes are for on-site guests only.

Equipment & Uniforms

Q: Can we use our own footballs?

Q: Can we use our own flags?
A: No. Official flag belts are provided at check-in.

Q: Can we wear our own jerseys?
A: Yes, for round robin games. Official jerseys must be worn for playoffs and championships.

Q: Can we wear the official jersey for all games?
A: Yes, if you prefer.

Q: Can we order our child's name for their jersey?
A: Customizing jerseys is not an option this year. Every athlete will receive an Under Armour jersey for use during the playoffs and championship rounds (Feb 21-22). Blank, unbranded Under Armour jerseys will be available for purchase and customization onsite at our retail tent. More details will be shared closer to the event.

Experience & Extras

Q: Will games be streamed on ESPN+?
A: Yes, all Div 1 Championship games will be streamed.

Q: Will there be special guests or NFL players?
A: We often have NFL players and influencers, but it?s not guaranteed.

Q: Are food and drinks available on site?
A: Yes, from food trucks, restaurants, and vending machines.

Q: Can we bring tents, coolers, and wagons?
A: Yes, but tents must not be staked and nothing can be left overnight.

Q: Are medics available?
A: Yes, medics are on-site at every field cluster.

Q: Where can we buy VIP sideline passes?
A: Tickets can be purchased at www.s34t.com.  All teams are allowed 1 VIP sideline pass per team per day

Q: Can I get a Disney tournament poster made for my team?
A: Yes, email tournaments@superherosports.org with your team info and photo.

Gameplay

Q: How many games will we play in Disney?
A: Minimum of 5 games: 4 round robin + single elimination playoffs.

Q: How long are the games?
A: 24 minutes (2 x 12-minute halves).

Q: What time do games start and end?
A: Games start at 9AM and run until around 6PM.

Q: When will the schedule be released?
A: February 1st.

Q: Are there different levels for round robin?
A: No, all teams are grouped by age, location, and experience. Playoff brackets are based on record.

Q: What rules are used for the tournament?
A: AAU/SHS rules found at www.shsleagues.com.

Q: What?s the tiebreaker and mercy rule?
A: Tiebreakers: record, head-to-head, points against, point differential, coin toss. Mercy rule: 28-point lead.

Registration
Q: Can any team participate in the Youth Flag Football World Championships?
A: Yes, any team from any league can sign up for the tournament.

Q: What is the registration fee to enter the Youth Flag Football World Championships?
A: $945 per team. Discounts available: $50 off per team for 3+ teams, $75 off for 6+, $100 off for 10+, $125 for 15+ Discounts apply
automatically in Zorts.

Q: Do we have to pay the full amount at sign up?
A: No, a $100 non-refundable deposit holds your spot.

Q: When does registration open?
A: June 1st, 2025.

Q: What's the deadline to sign up?
A: December 1st, 2025, or when the age division is full.

Q: When is full payment due?
A: Full payment is due by December 1st, 2025.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: The $100 deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made before January 1, 2026, the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) may be credited toward another Unrivaled Flag tournament. Teams that withdraw on or after January 1, 2026, are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Rosters & Check-In

Q: What is the age cut-off for the tournament?
A: January 1st, 2025.

Q: When do rosters have to be submitted?
A: Rosters are due December 1st,2025. Changes after this date may not be possible or may incur a fee.

Q: What is the check-in process for 2026?
A: Teams will check in virtually using facial recognition via Zoom. Staff will coordinate a time, and wristbands with names
will be provided, only coaches will need to be present at check in.

Q: Can we substitute a player last minute using someone else's wristband?
A: No. Wristbands are assigned and misuse will result in disqualification.

Q: Can a player be on more than one roster?
A: Yes, as long as they are not in the same age division.

Q: Do we need a Zorts card to participate?
A: Yes, all players and coaches need an active Zorts card.
