Spotlight Athlete: Hunter Greene

With all of the spectacular athletes covered thus far, one would just assume that no other player could raise some eyebrows, that is until you hear the name, Hunter Greene. Who is Hunter Greene? Well, as of now, he is America's number one College Baseball recruit for the class of 2017 (baseballamerica.com). Greene is a senior at Notre Dame  High School (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA) which is also the High School Alma Mater of MLB Star Giancarlo Stanton. The reason the Senior RHP/SS is making waves in the world of high school baseball is because of his versatility as a fielder, strong hitting ability, and most significantly, his signature 102 mph fastball. No that is not a typo, this high school senior throughs an insane 102 mph that catches batters looking. Last season Greene was an Under Armour All-American and displayed his patented pitch at the All-America Game, letting the baseball world know why he is the number one prospect in his class. Currently, Greene is committed to play his college ball at UCLA, one of if not the top college Baseball school in the nation. Don't forget this young man's name, because it won't be long before he is turning heads on the big stage.
